The Handbook

Our game relies on a heavily modified version of the original Mind's Eye Theater Vampire: the Masquerade rules for larping. In the past, our modifications had been strewn throughout the forum in any of two or three boards and across many, many threads. In an effort to compile those modifications into one document, our handbook was born.

Or, download individual chapters:

All players should read the first chapter; it details what we do and do not use from the White Wolf canon regarding the game. It also details some notable locations and NPCs within our game.

Existing players are probably familiar with most of the rules in the rest of the document as many of them have been enforced throughout the previous years of the game. However, there are some changes to the clans (chapter two) and massive changes with respect to disciplines. Also, be aware of our removal of negative traits; that has far reaching consequences for other parts of the game. Finally, we have made some changes that you might want to check out in chapter three especially with respect to Backgrounds.

New players can probably focus primarily on chapters two and three as they are most important for creating characters. Information about disciplines and other miscellaneous rules can be picked up during play.
